Our Mission
American Youth Fishing Association (AYFA) is a non-profit corporation based in So. California, formed by fishermen who volunteer to share their enthusiasm for sport fishing with America's youth.
In our dedication to the preservation of ocean & fresh water fisheries, we represent fishermen from the United States, Canada and South and Central America, who seek to pass on their love of sport fishing as a legacy to future generations.
We recognize the need for commerical fishing, however, it is our Mission to oppose wreckless and uncontrolled depletion of our US fisheries by indiscriminate fishing conducted US and Foreign enterprises.
We invite you and your children, and your friends and their chilren to share our vison and enjoy the dream of sport fishing... now and for generations to come.

Our Youth Fishing Programs seeks to provide young people with the opportunities to experience the many wonders of ocean and fresh water Sport Fishing.In our taking kids fishing, we hope to introduce them to an appreciation of nature, and the beauty and bounty of America's oceans, lakes, rivers and streams ...and teach fisheries management and conservation, so we can save fishingfor generations to come.
